We would like to share joyful news with our Orthodox public and all good-willed people who feel love for the Holy Orthodox Faith. The Orthodox Missionary Center “Fr. Daniel Sysoyev” became involved in publishing the Orthodox literature as means of help and support and a token of love for our brethren dispersed around the world – Orthodox communities in Mongolia, Indonesia and Pakistan.
A group of Orthodox Christians, who are zealous in their faith, gave offerings according to their capabilities so that the precious words of St. Nikolai of Ochrid and Zicha could be translated into languages spoken in these countries.
His capital work “The Faith of Educated People” (The Interpretation of the Symbol of Faith) has been translated for our brethren in Indonesia and Pakistan. According to the words of self-sacrificing Fr. John Tanveer, the only missionary and apostle in Pakistan, this book will contribute a lot to the preaching of the Orthodox faith.

“The Faith of the Saints (The Catechism of the Eastern Orthodox Church)” – A Book for Mongolia

“The Faith of the Saints” (The Catechism of the Eastern Orthodox Church) and
“The Interpretation of Lord’s Prayer” have been translated and published for the
missionary community of untiring Fr. Alexey Trubach from the city of Ulan Bator, the only preacher of the Holy faith in vast Mongolia.
This missionary venture is the deed of our Lord and all of us who somehow helped publishing the books. Although Christians, who gave offerings, are dispersed all over the continents, they were united in one goal and one cause – in love for Christ, in wish to get closer to God with this deed. May these words relate to them: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy” (Matthew 5:7). This may be the true form and example of the Orthodox unity and universality, where physical distance, age and social differences completely disappear…
Our missionary editions are published with the blessing of Bishop David of Stobi and Administrator of Strumitsa from the Orthodox Archdiocese of Ochrid (SOC). You can read the inspired words written by our Bishop in the supplement. These words were written especially for the editions translated into the languages of our brethren in Mongolia, Pakistan …
We hereby invite all our brethren and sistren who wish to join this project of publishing missionary literature, this spiritual food for our brethren who are in worse hardship than we are.
Christ promised: “And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” (Matthew 10:42).
This kind of help and support to our brethren in Christ is just that cup of cold water, “bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life“ (John 4:14) that Christ spoke about. Let us remember them so that Christ would remember us, let us help them so that Lord would help us.
“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38) And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’(Matthew 25:40)
There are more projects in preparation. If you wish to join and take part according to your capabilities, contact us at urednik@svedokverni.org.
“So the disciples determined, everyone according to his ability, to send relief to the brothers living in Judea. (Acts 11:29)
Thus, those who want to express love and gratitude to Christ the Savior for His love and mercy towards us, let them serve His great deed of invocating the heathen to salvation through missionary outreach… An Orthodox deed is a deed of every believer. Every son of the Church should not only keep the purity of the Orthodox teachings, but he should also care to spread the Orthodox faith among the heathen and heterodox. Therefore all believers have an obligation to help with means they have.“ ( St. Macarius Nevsky, The Sermons, p. 217, 209)
