OCMC Missionaries like Floyd Frantz need you more than ever this Nativity Season. Their ministry work transforms the lives of thousands. More missionaries are needed in the mission field. Please help us to send these loving witnesses into the world in 2018 with your gift today! Thanks to challenge grants your gift can be doubled!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
What is freedom…true freedom?
For the Faithful, it is something that can only come through Christ. It is the liberation that was born into the world with the Nativity of our Lord and Savior and is eternally available to us through His triumphant Resurrection. It is the greatest gift. He is hope in the face of hopelessness. He is the healer of unbearable pain. And, He restores every loss. It is your support of, and involvement in, Orthodox missions that offers this gift of freedom to those who desperately need it.

Can you imagine being unable to escape the memories of a childhood lost to abuse, starving poverty, or war? Can you imagine only being able to find solace from this pain in the numbing haze of drugs or alcohol? Can you imagine losing everything…home, friends, and family as a result? There are countless people enslaved by this same cycle of pain, hopelessness, and loss in every corner of the world. You can help set them free.
OCMC missionary Floyd Frantz, has dedicated his life to serving people like I have described above, by offering prayer-centered substance abuse counseling through the Church in Romania. Recently, because of your support for Orthodox Missions, he was able to take this ministry to the Western Diocese of Kenya. With the blessing of His Grace Athanasius, Floyd and a Romanian priest Fr. Iulian Negru, trained clergy in Kenya on how to counsel those struggling with addiction.

Did you know that it only takes $75 to get someone ensnared by addiction the treatment that they need? A gift of $45 can help support a priest who will be offering this counseling for a month. And, if just 10 people like you pledge $100 per month, ministries like a substance abuse counseling program can be supported and administered for an entire year!
I am writing to ask that you help those crying out for hope this Nativity season. Your prayerful donation at any level will have an impact on the lives of many. Most importantly, if you give by year’s end you will see that impact doubled thanks to challenge grants totaling $46,500 that have been awarded to the Mission Center.

With this tremendous opportunity in mind, please consider a gift of $75, $100, or even more!
Think of the countless lives that will be touched and how many people can be set free as a result of Christ’s outpouring of love through ministries like the ones I’ve just described. More is needed…A LOT more! Your contribution to the OCMC can make this possible.
As the Nativity Feast approaches and we anxiously await the birth of our Lord, remember that there are those who don’t yet know what a gift Christ’s birth can be. Thank you in advance for praying for them. We will be praying for you and your loved one’s as well. May God bless you and may you have a very Merry Christmas!

In Christ,
Fr. Martin Ritsi
Executive Director

PS – The impact of your support can be doubled if you give before the end of the year. Please join Orthodox missionaries, priests, and mission workers in reaching more people in 2018 than ever before with your prayerful offering.
